I have finally had the opportunity to see this wonderful movie of which I do believe there was an animated film about this dating back to 1978 of The Lord of The Rings. I was very young when this film emerged and loved it when I finally saw it(after reading the series of books) and until this very day, I am truly astonished as to how this film has emerged! Truly a triumph! I knew that when I decided to go and see this film, I would not be disappointed. I had stayed away from reading reviews, and watching all of the information that television has been supplying as I truly wanted to wait and see what the magic of hollywood had done to enhance this story. With all of the elaborate make up and extensive special effects added to this already mystical tale, I am truly in awe of the sequence of events that took place in this film. The acting was wonderful. I truly loved the scenery as this was so profound in New Zealand and it added so much charm to this already well written movie. The characters were exquisite and the mannerism in which they portrayed themselves was astonishing! With romance, chivalry,and true friendship as well as the love of mankind, this is a movie that I believe will outlast many,many others! It will stand the test of time and evolve as one of hollywood's finest films for sure. The archer was truly one of my favorite characters (Orlando Bloom) and I found his courage and skill with the bow and arrow being tested constantly throughout the film. "He was wonderful. The battle scenes were skillfully executed and very realistic indeed. One can only dare to imagine what the following sequence of events from the oncoming films will be. Truly an astonishing feet of film making and I am waiting to see what avails itself next. "Bravo to the entire cast of crew of this film! I highly recommend this film and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it! Merry Xmas to all!
